The Fretz Showroom has all of the Sub-Zero and Wolf Products on display in real kitchen vingettes.

Want to know how delicious food can be when cooked with Wolf Products? Can I write this entire blog using only questions? Will you keep reading if I do? Are my questions getting old? No? Yes? Ok. I’ll stop.
So this week, I want to talk about a fantastic service that The Fretz Corporation (our distributor of Sub-Zero and Wolf ) extends to our customers: “Product Demonstration Night”. Now I know the name doesn’t roll off the tongue, but I’ve been to one and let me tell you, it’s AWESOME.
“Demo Night” is held at The Fretz Corporation’s (also our distributor for Asko, Scotsman, Best by Broan, and Franke) Philadelphia headquarters. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see a variety of Sub-Zero and Wolf products while enjoying some wine and hors d’oeuvres (kieffersguy note: I can never remember how to spell hors d`oeuvres and have to google it every time). THEN you head upstairs to their kitchen studio.

To be honest, it’s not really a studio, but a theater. It’s a huge kitchen with seating all around. There are TV screens and cameras to get better views of the products and the chefs preparing the meal. Of course the best part is that they cook the meal during the demonstration and serve it to you.

- Crab and corn chowder soup (Fall and Winter months only)
- Shrimp and scallop scampi
- Filet tips with garlic parmesan cream sauce accompanied with portobello mushroom napoleon and asparagus
- Lemon blueberry cookie sorbet
- Roasted turkey, Chilean Sea Bass and string beans
- Chocolate chip cookies with coffee and tea downstairs on showroom post demonstration
I’m going to go on record and let you know that the turkey they cooked was the best turkey that I ever had. The second best, of course, was the one that I cooked this past Thanksgiving. For more info on my triumph, check out my previous post about cooking Thanksgiving dinner.
The evening wraps up with a Q & A session featuring coffee and cookies. The people at Fretz are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to answer any questions you might have about Sub-Zero and Wolf. Demo nights are held once a month from 6pm – 9pm. Here’s the schedule:

The Catch
There’s no catch except that someone from Kieffer’s has to schedule your reservation. Typically I don’t throw my colleagues under the bus, but since they don’t write the blog, I’m going to. If you’re interested in attending the demo night, stop into our Lansdale Showroom and ask for the Kieffer’s guy so I can go with you. Don’t worry, I’m great company and we’re sure to have a fun time! I’ll bring my bag of jokes with me. ?
